This picture above was taken on June 30, 1941 and shows German mountain troops from the Tyrolean Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 136 / 2.Gebirgs-Division / Gebirgskorps Norwegen extrajudicially killing Soviet POWs. Barely a week into the war, these two Soviet Prisoners, who bear their heads high and affront death, are executed on sight. They were shot a few minutes later. The remains of Soviet soldiers were lying on the tundra of the Arctic Circle more than 70 years. They were found and buried in the summer of 2013. We can known now the name of one of the Soviet soldiers after many years. He is private Sergey Korolkov, 1912 year of birth, the birthplace Kirov region, Velikoluksky area, Serezhinsky farmland, village Hmelishche, in the Soviet Army on June, 22nd, 1941.Other soldier is still unknown. There is an assumption that he is the Soviet junior officer.

  1. Nice research.
It it good to notice, that we do not know what they have done and why have been executed.
I as a Polish can say, that they - Germans and Russian were bad guys and were worth being killed.

  2. The assumption that these two Russian Soldiers were summarily shot for no reason is utter rubbish. The Russian military were so guilty of horrific crimes against everyone in Europe that it is amazing there weren't a lot more of these incidents. I notice there aren't any photos showing atrocities committed by Russian and their allies, 98% of Russian photos have been doctored to show what ever they want, and the gullible all seem to swallow it.

    1. Why anonymous? Do you not honestly and with full name dare to express your propaganda? Russians have always treated me nice, honest and took good care of me.

  5. Britain, France, and all other Western European countries succumbed kneeling down shamefully to Nazis as historically proven. Even countries like Switzerland shamefully became havens for Nazis' treasures. To cover up such degrace, they tried to explore and exploit everything which they thought could help defame the eternal glory of the then Soviet Union in the World War II.

    2. FalkeEins simply does not know about British-Nazi agreement 29.09.1938 in which British presented to Hitler Czechoslovakia and the British-Nazi declaration 30.09.1938 :)

  6. Britain fought the war from start to finish? Lets not forget mass murderer Winston Churchill who starved millions of brown people to death.
